You stand on the high ground, defending your place. The Seven of Wands is about holding on to your convictions when others question them. In your question, your position has more support than it feels like. Stand firm, but choose your battles. Not everything that challenges you needs an answer.
Reversed
You have been defending yourself for so long that you are tired. Perhaps you feel overrun and think about giving up, or defending has become a habit even where nobody is attacking. The Seven of Wands reversed asks what is worth standing your ground for. There is no shame in releasing a position that is no longer yours.
