Upright
Something built on a false foundation is falling, or about to. The Tower is sudden and uncomfortable, but it only tears down what would not hold. In your question, an insight may strike like lightning. Let it. What remains standing afterward is real, and from there you can rebuild.
Reversed
You sense that something has to fall, yet you keep propping up the walls. The Tower reversed may show an upheaval happening inside rather than outside, or a crisis you keep pushing ahead of you. The longer you hold up what is cracking, the more it wears you down. What are you afraid will happen if you let go?
