Upright
A man with a scale hands coins to those in need. The Six of Pentacles is about giving and receiving in balance. In your question, you may be the one with something to offer, or the one who needs to receive. Both are dignified. Ask yourself where you stand right now, and be generous in the right direction.
Reversed
Giving has become lopsided. Perhaps you give in order to be liked or to keep control, or you receive on terms that feel uncomfortable. The Six of Pentacles reversed asks you to see whether there are expectations baked into what is given. Genuine generosity leaves both sides freer.
